Hello guys! I've just came back from Seoul. As always - I don't have free time (see: trip to Stockholm), so I'm just uploading photos. Korea was GREAT:) [learning, eating, drinking, singing, not sleeping;) sightseeing and having fun - wonderful time]. Hope to go back there as soon as possible... The street leading up to Ewha Women’s University seemed the most feminine street in all of Seoul. It was lined with boutiques, cafes and tea shops, shoe stores, beauty salons, a Body Shop and its Korean counterparts. Going up to the university itself, which was on top of a hill, we were met by phalanxes of Korean girls coming from class, striding purposefully down the street. Today was Ji-heh's birthday, she is my Dad's friends daughter who has been so kindly showing us around recently. She turned 22 today. We were at my Aunt's house because we missed the last bus the night before. So early in the morning my Aunt took us to the bus stop and we caught the 7:30am bus back towards the area where my Dad's friend lives. It was important that we got back to their house fairly early because they were waiting for us to have a big birthday breakfast... It's Sunday morning, Sept.3, and I've had plenty of sleep. I look out my windows to see what I can see. Like I said before, we are on a compound. And I don't really know what surrounds the compound. It's a misty kind of morning, but I can see what lies beyond the compound, fields and hills. There are a few soldiers walking around, BUT I don't think that they are watching us.
